Anthony Jacob Appointed to Board of the Institute of Illinois Business Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law

Anthony J. Jacob, a partner with Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP who practices corporate/business law, lending law and real estate law, has been appointed to serve as a board member on the Institute of Illinois Business Law at Chicago-Kent College of Law. The Institute was originally formed by the Illinois Secretary of State and now is an independent endeavor of Chicago-Kent College of Law. The Institute's mission is to advise the State elected officials, legislators, and legal practitioners of necessary revisions to Illinois laws pertaining to businesses. Past projects of the Institute have included rewriting the Illinois Business Corporation Act and the Illinois Not For Profit Corporation Act. Mr. Jacob will be assisting with the Institute's current project of making necessary revisions to the Illinois Limited Liability Company Act, along with advising on other projects as they arise.
