Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner André Sesler has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida Law Center Association (LCA). He will serve a five-year term beginning on July 1, 2026.
About the LCA Board of Trustees
As the primary advisory board for the University of Florida Frederic G. Levin College of Law, the Board of Trustees serves as the cornerstone of the College’s governance, working in collaboration with the Dean and administration to provide oversight while acting as the financial support organization exclusively assisting in the teaching and research missions of the College.
Its mission is to promote legal education, uphold the highest ideals and ethics of the legal profession, support legal research, and facilitate the administration of justice. The Board also helps attract talented faculty and students, providing scholarships and financial assistance, fostering continuing legal education, supporting research on legal and broader societal issues, maintaining the law library, and identifying professional opportunities for students and graduates.
About André
André is a seasoned defense attorney with more than a decade of experience representing luxury automobile manufacturers in complex product liability, defect, and warranty litigation. He also advises insurers on sophisticated claims-related litigation, including premises liability, auto accidents, nursing home matters, and a wide range of professional, healthcare, and general liability claims.
A graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, André was a Dean’s List honoree and Presidential Scholarship recipient, and served as President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
