Barbara Fernandez, Hinshaw's Miami office partner-in-charge, was recently featured in articles by the Daily Business Review and The American Lawyer that discussed trends in area law firm office real estate. Last year, Hinshaw relocated to The Plaza Coral Gables, and several other firms have since also relocated to Coral Gables.
The new 18,000-square-foot office space has greatly enhanced the work environment, offering a fresh, modern atmosphere that meets the needs of Hinshaw's growing team. "We particularly were attracted to moving into The Plaza because of its on-site hotel, which is ideal for clients and partners traveling to South Florida to commute to the hotel and our offices, which are both in the same area," she said.
The relocation has also boosted Hinshaw's local connections and involvement within the community. Recently, Fernandez and the firm's Women's Attorney Network hosted a successful event welcoming the South Florida Women In-House Counsel Group for an evening of networking and socializing on The Plaza's picturesque rooftop.
"We love it here. It's a beautiful building, the restaurants are great, and it's just a nice place," Fernandez told the Daily Business Review. "There's even art exhibits throughout the space, and it's just a great location."
