CHICAGO, IL. and MIAMI, FL. – Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, an AmLaw 200 national law firm with an emphasis in litigation and business and corporate law, has announced that it will relocate its Miami office to the 2525 Ponce de Leon building. The move will take place in late-March 2012. At 22,416 square feet, the new office represents an approximately 50 percent jump in the amount of space the firm currently occupies. Approximately 35 attorneys will practice out of the Miami office, which is located in the Downtown Coral Gables Business District, one of South Florida’s most desirable submarkets.
Hinshaw signed a 12-year lease for the new space, the financial terms of which were not disclosed. The firm will occupy the entire fourth floor of the 2525 Ponce de Leon building. Together with the approximately 30 lawyers in Hinshaw’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida, office, Hinshaw has nearly 65 attorneys in South Florida, making it one of the area’s largest law firms.
“Moving to the vibrant, multinational business community of Coral Gables will allow us to provide outstanding service to our local, national and international clients,” said Ronald L. Kammer, Partner-in-charge of Hinshaw & Culbertson’s Miami office. “The access to additional resources and convenient proximity to all areas of Miami-Dade County will also fuel our continued expansion in south Florida.”
Currently located at 9155 S. Dadeland Blvd., Hinshaw has had a longstanding presence in Miami, having opened its initial office in 1987. Its Fort Lauderdale office was established in 1988. The firm also has offices in Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida.
