Anthony Davis Authors New York Law Journal Article on Recent Developments on Legal Fees and 'Unfinished Business'

New York, New York - Anthony E. Davis, a Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner authored the article, "Developments—Legal Fees and Farewell to 'Unfinished Business'" for the New York Law Journal. The article discusses two recent developments relating to legal fees and the "unfinished business" saga. The case and subsequent rule changes that address legal fees highlight the critical need for lawyers and law firms to take care in the drafting of their engagement letters. Two just decided cases deal an apparent death blow to the "unfinished business" doctrine in both New York as well as in its birthplace, California.
