About Melinda
Melinda focuses her practice on civil litigation, including the defense of governmental entities and health care service providers. She assists in general governance matters such as licensure and permitting procedures and acquisition.
Before joining Hinshaw, Melinda was a summer associate with the firm and co-authored a chapter for the American Health Lawyers Association’s Enterprise Risk Management Handbook for Health Care Entities, Fourth Edition.

Melinda is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Before law school, she helped found The Collective St. Louis, a non-profit, donation-based yoga studio in St. Louis, Missouri. If she wasn't practicing law, Melinda might have pursued a career as an English professor.
