Hinshaw attorneys Richard Porter, Melinda Oliver, and David Vogt contributed to the newest edition of the Enterprise Risk Management for Health Care handbook, co-published by the American Health Law Association (AHLA). Under the "Domain VIII Hazard Risk" section, the attorneys co-authored Chapter 21, covering environmental risk management.
The fourth edition provides guidance for healthcare risk professionals, attorneys, strategic planners, internal auditors, human resources and finance managers, and others along the enterprise risk management (ERM) journey. The authors examine unique ERM issues and legal implications for healthcare organizations, including PFA regulation and pandemic preparedness.
The fourth edition of "Enterprise Risk Management for Health Care" was co-published by the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management in March 2024.
