About Stephanie
Stephanie is an experienced litigator representing mortgage servicers and lenders in state and federal courts on an array of financial services matters. She defends clients in consumer and class action lawsuits involving mortgage fraud, wrongful foreclosure, predatory lending, and violations of consumer protection statutes, including the FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, FCRA, and Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Practices Act. She also has extensive experience handling jurisdictional challenges, title conflicts, lien priority disputes, and REO property proceedings.
Beyond litigation, Stephanie advises financial institutions on compliance, including fair lending practices and privacy matters. Her background also includes environmental law, having externed at the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Region 5 office.
