Hinshaw GC Steve Puiszis Discusses Hinshaw's Adoption of an Artificial Intelligence Policy

Chicago partner and firm general counsel Steve Puiszis was quoted in an ALM Daily Business Review story discussing the firm's adoption of an official artificial intelligence (AI) policy. While many firms are staying quiet about their AI use, others are adopting the technology to give them a competitive advantage.
Puiszis said that Hinshaw is taking a proactive approach toward implementing AI by "testing several products and paying plenty for them" in order to improve the firm's technology stack and productivity.
He added that a key question law firm Chief Information Officers and Chief Operating Officers are evaluating right now is, "Do we use one of the platforms that have been developed for law firms, or do we develop our own?"
