Hinshaw partner, Craig Liljestrand recently authored an article in the Defense Counsel Journal titled, "PFAS Exposure: A Comprehensive Look at Emerging Facts and Studies, Risk and Liability Assessment, Litigation History, Evolving Regulations and Future Predictions."
The article analyzes Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) and their potential risk to human and environmental health. Liljestrand reviews PFAS-related litigation and regulatory trends, and anticipates that litigation will continue to increase. He concludes with potential risk management strategies for companies with PFAS liability exposure.
