Hinshaw Lawyers Advise Kenyon & Kenyon on Combination with Andrews Kurth

Janis M. Meyer and Todd M. Young assisted Kenyon & Kenyon in connection with its consolidation with Andrews Kurth, negotiating the Acquisition Agreement and advising on deal structure and strategy, partnership governance matters and numerous other issues relating to the transaction, which was structured as an asset acquisition and not a merger. Kenyon's lawyers joined Andrews Kurth effective September 1.

Ms. Meyer, who is based in Hinshaw's New York office, focuses her practice on professional responsibility, risk management and professional liability law, with particular emphasis on attorneys and law firms.

Mr. Young, who is based in Hinshaw's Chicago office, focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, loan and financing transactions, and contract negotiation.
