Daniel McGrath Appointed Chair of DRI's Jury Trial Perservation Task Force

Daniel W. McGrath, leader of the Product Liability practice at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, has been appointed chairperson of the Defense Research Institute's (DRI's) Jury Trial Preservation Task Force by John Sweeney, DRI president.  The task force's goals include preserving and fostering the right to trial by jury in civil disputes and assisting development of policies and procedures to encourage jury trials and make recommendations that promote civil jury trials which are more efficiently and economically conducted.  The appointment is for a one year term.

Mr. McGrath is a long-time and extremely active DRI member.  He is the immediate past chairperson of DRI's Toxic Tort & Environmental Law Committee.
