David Alfini to Present a Hinshaw-Sponsored Webinar on Culturally Appropriate Care and Services to LGBTQ+ Seniors
Event
Jun 26, 2024
Hinshaw is pleased to present "Offering Culturally Appropriate Care and Services to LGBTQ+ Seniors" as a live webinar on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. This program will establish a solid foundation for effectively serving the senior living community. Our presenters, Hinshaw partner David Alfini and Chad Boeddeker, CDP, Executive Director of Westmont of Carmel Valley, aim to explore the economic, social, and medical factors involved in providing culturally competent care. The goal is to promote a better understanding of how to deliver customized and inclusive services.
LGBTQ+ elders represent one of the fastest emerging populations in the senior living space. With an estimated 2.7 to 3 million adults aged 50 and older identifying as LGBTQ+ in the United States, and projections indicating a rise to 7 million by 2030, it's crucial to address the unique needs of this community.
This complimentary event provides attendees with one (1) hour of NHAP and RCFE continuing education credit.
