Hinshaw partner Tom Kuzmanovic joined a legal edition of the Political Power Hour show on 620 WTMJ with former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Janine Geske to review various legal developments, including the Trump v. United States classified documents case and international law tribunals.

Tomislav Z. Kuzmanovic, a Milwaukee-based partner at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, will be speaking at the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA) Annual Conference & CTLA Midyear Meeting. Mr. Kuzmanovic will be speaking at the program "War Stories from a War Crimes Trial: The Trial & Appeal of Croatian Generals Gotovina, Čermak & Markač at the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia" on April 29, 2016 9:30am-10:30am EST. 

Hinshaw partner Tom Kuzmanovic will speak at the ABA International Courts Committee's monthly meeting taking place on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, regarding the appeal of General Mladen Markač before the Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in The Hague, Netherlands. Gen. Markač was the Assistant Minister of Interior and Commander of Special Police (equivalent to Special Forces) in Croatia in 1995 who was sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment by the ICTY's Trial Chamber for allegedly committing crimes against humanity and violations of the laws or customs of war from August to September 1995. Mr. Kuzmanovic began his representation of Gen. Markač in 2007. The trial began in March 2008 and was completed in August 2010. Gen. Markač was acquitted on all charges when the Appeals verdict was rendered in November 2012.

Hinshaw's Anthony Antognoli, Tom Kuzmanovic, and Michael Weis, will team up in a webinar titled "COVID-19: Considerations for Business Owners & Lenders," on April 24, 2020 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Central. In the short term, business owners are worried about paying bills and caring for staff. Long term, however, their concerns shift to whether their businesses can survive the crisis.

On June 23, 2015, the Wisconsin Supreme Court held that the discovery rule permits both survival and wrongful death claims to accrue after the decedent's death. Christ v. Exxon Mobil Corp., 2012AP1493 (Wis. June 23, 2015).
