Webinar
Jun 5, 2019
With CMS expanding MSP compliance for personal injury claimants, it's more critical than ever to ensure full compliance to avoid exposure from Medicare for claim-related, post-settlement medical expenses.
Hinshaw partner Robert J. Finley will discuss the latest publications, guidance, and regulations regarding Medicare Set-Asides (MSAs) in a teleconference on June 5, 2019 titled "Medicare Set-Asides in Personal Injury ‒ New Developments," presented through The National Business Institute (NBI). Although the program is designed for attorneys, insurance professionals and paralegals will also benefit from the program.
Course content includes:
- Delving into the latest requirements, case law, and other developments
- Anticipating when an MSA is required and learning how to calculate the amount to be set aside
- Learning how MSAs will be reviewed and how to prepare proposals that demonstrate a consideration of Medicare's claim
