New York-based attorney Mohamed F. Sweify, chair of the Egypt Chapter of the New York State Bar Association's (NYSBA) International Section, and past chair of NYSBA’s International Dispute Resolution Committee, will participate in a virtual CLE panel titled "Nuances of Intellectual Property & Tech-Related Disputes Before WIPO" on August 20, 2025.
The panel will examine IP and technology-related disputes, highlighting the role of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in cross-border disputes. Designed for legal professionals, it will cover trends in such disputes, technology conflicts, and WIPO’s mediation services. Key topics include ADR tools, negotiation strategies, and international arbitration involving ICANN. The program offers insights for the efficient resolution of IP and tech-related disputes across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.
