Hinshaw's Joanna Storey will serve as a panelist for a presentation titled "Legal Ethics in a Remote World," on October 14, 2020. Presented by the Legal Ethics Committee of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF), the program will explore the legal ethics of remote representation as it relates to the Rules of Professional Conduct, which all members of the California State Bar are subject to. Topics addressed include duties of diligence, considerations when advising clients, keeping clients informed, and obligations to the court and opposing counsel.
