The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Miami-based attorneys Neda Ghomeshi and Peter Hernandez have been selected to the thirteenth annual list of Diversity MBA's Top 100 under 50 Executive and Emerging Leaders for 2019. All award recipients were honored at the Diversity MBA's Elite Business Leaders Conference & Awards Gala at the Westin Chicago River North in September.
Diversity MBA is a national leadership organization that integrates diversity and inclusion with talent management. Its annual list of Top 100 under 50 executive and emerging leaders is selected from a broad spectrum of companies with a global reach, and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated "outstanding achievements in community, leadership and education." This award is uniquely special because candidates must have an advanced degree or certification, and can only receive the recognition once.
A profile of Hinshaw's recognized leaders follows.
Emerging Leaders
Neda Ghomeshi
A member of the firm's consumer financial services practice, Ghomeshi seeks to give back to the legal community and further diversity at Hinshaw whenever opportunity arises. In addition to being involved with several bar organizations—including the Miami-Dade Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers where she is a committee chair—she volunteers with the Safespace Foundation, Inc. and serves as the organization's secretary.
Peter Hernandez
An active member of Hinshaw's Hispanic/Latino Affinity Network, Hernandez is licensed to practice law in state and federal courts throughout Florida. He defends financial institutions in litigation involving banking matters, complex commercial and residential mortgage foreclosure issues, and works with clients to ensure regulatory compliance.
