Thomas O’Carroll Appointed to Board of Directors for Illinois Defense Association

Thomas L. O’Carroll, a Chicago-based partner in Medical Malpractice at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, was appointed to a one-year term on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) at the organization’s 52nd Annual Meeting, held June 24, 2016, in Chicago. The mission of the IDC is to ensure civil justice with integrity, civility and professional competence.
Thomas O’Carroll is a trial attorney who has handled complex civil litigation claims for nearly 20 years in both the trial and the appellate level in a variety of jurisdictions across the country. Mr. O’Carroll graduated from DePaul College of Law in 1997 as a member both of the DePaul Law Review and the Moot Court team. Since joining Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, Mr. O’Carroll has defended physicians, nurses, health professionals, hospitals, long term care facilities, attorneys, law firms, banks, credit agencies and large and small companies of all types and in various claims.
