Sharonda Roberson Elected as President of the J.L. Turner Legal Association

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Dallas-based attorney Sharonda Roberson has been elected to serve as the President of the J.L. Turner Legal Association, effective January 1, 2026. Sharonda and her fellow incoming Board of Directors members were sworn in for the 2026 term at the J.L. Turner Legal Association Foundation’s 2025 Scholarship Gala on November 1, 2025.
About the J.L. Turner Legal Association
The J.L. Turner Legal Association is an allied bar under the Dallas Bar Association and serves as the Dallas affiliate chapter of the National Bar Association. The organization’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in the Dallas community through education, service, and scholarship opportunities. About Sharonda
Sharonda is an associate in Hinshaw’s Dallas office, overseeing complex consumer financial litigation and regulatory compliance matters. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), she advises clients on privacy and cybersecurity issues, including risk assessments, data governance, and the development of compliance policies. Drawing on experience in civil litigation and as in-house counsel, she also helps financial services companies navigate evolving regulatory frameworks and operational risk.
Beyond her practice, Sharonda is actively involved in the legal community through leadership roles on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Bar Association and the J.L. Turner Legal Association. She also shares insights on emerging privacy regulations and has been recognized for her contributions, including receiving the J.L. Turner Legal Association’s 2024 President’s Award for Excellent Service and being named a 2023 Leader on the Rise by the Black Women Lawyers’ Association.
