Previously known as Who's Who Legal, the Lexology Index annually publishes its Thought Leaders: USA guide, which "brings together the insight, expertise, and wisdom of some of the USA’s foremost lawyers and experts in a single report." The individuals featured received strong recommendations from peers, corporate counsel, and other market sources during Lexology’s latest research cycle.
Scott is a commercial litigator and trial lawyer with nearly 38 years of experience. Clients regularly turn to him and his team for counsel and representation in challenging, high-stakes insurance and business matters. He also serves as the co-chair of Hinshaw’s Global Insurance Services Practice Group. He is frequently quoted in the news media on developments and trends impacting the insurance industry. His two-volume treatise Allocation of Losses in Complex Insurance Coverage Claims (13th Ed. 2025) addresses the leading issues driving insurance coverage claims and litigation as well as reinsurance arbitrations.
Ian handles business-related immigration law for multinational corporations, hospitals, nonprofit arts institutions, universities, athletic organizations, and individual investors and entrepreneurs. Recognized as a leading voice on immigration law topics nationwide, Ian frequently speaks about immigration issues on campuses and continuing legal education seminars. He also provides commentary in print media and television news programs.
Palma has been practicing immigration law for over 45 years and provides counsel on all aspects of immigration law. One of the country's leading practitioners in physician immigration cases, Palma also handles matters involving scientific researchers, immigrant and non-immigrant investors, educators, athletes, entrepreneurs, ministers, and religious workers, as well as employees of international organizations and their dependents, skilled and essential workers, students, and their dependents.
