Ruel W. Smith, a Tampa-based partner in the Personal Injury/Property Damage Defense Litigation practice at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, was selected as an honoree by the Tampa Bay Business Journal for the 2016 Heroes at Work Award on August 19, 2016.
The Tampa Bay Business Journal 2016 Heroes at Work Awards seeks to recognize Tampa Bay veterans who, through their professional and personal efforts, are making a positive impact throughout the community. To be nominated, the individual must be a veteran of the U.S. military.
Ruel Smith devotes his practice to civil, commercial, and complex litigation before state and Federal courts and administrative agencies throughout Florida. Before turning to the law, Mr. Smith served as a U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery officer, holding multiple operational and leadership positions in the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and the 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized).
