Ruddy Abam Named to National Bar Association Advancement Academy for Excellence

The U.S. law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that associate Ruddy S. Abam has been selected to participate as a 2023-2024 Fellow in the National Bar Association’s Associate Advancement Academy for Excellence (NBA Advancement Academy).
The NBA Advancement Academy is specifically intended to facilitate the advancement and retention of black attorneys in the nation’s largest law firms. The Academy includes educational, networking, mentoring, and pro bono/community service components tailored to advance the careers of black attorneys within the first three years of practice in an AmLaw 200 firm.
Abam concentrates her practice on business and financial services litigation. She represents debt collection agencies, debt buyers, and other consumer-facing clients in legal actions involving a diverse array of state and federal laws. She also represents businesses in addressing civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and matters initiated by state government institutions.
