Renee Mortimer Receives Indiana State Bar Association’s Defense Lawyer Civility Award

Schererville, IN — Renee J. Mortimer, the Partner-in-Charge of the Schererville, Indiana office of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, and co-leader of the firm’s Defense Litigation Department, has been awarded the Indiana State Bar Association’s Defense Lawyer Civility Award for 2012. Ms. Mortimer was selected for the honor by the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, which recognized her for outstanding civility and professionalism in her dealings with fellow judges, attorneys, parties, witnesses and the public.
Ms. Mortimer has a broad litigation practice with particular emphasis in managing large risks and exposures, and litigating large and excess risks. Ms. Mortimer handles matters involving ERISA benefits, general liability, medical malpractice, municipal liability, products liability, professional liability, retail and hospitality liability, and trucking and heavy vehicle litigation. Her commercial litigation practice includes UCC matters.
