Peter D. Sullivan and Todd M. Young Named to Management Committee of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP

CHICAGO, IL – The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP announces that Todd M. Young and Peter D. Sullivan have been appointed to the firm’s Management Committee. The seven-member Management Committee is Hinshaw’s highest governing body.
Said Donald L. Mrozek, Hinshaw’s Chairman, “I and the other members of the Management Committee look forward to working with Todd and Peter.” He added, “They bring new insights and perspectives to the committee. Their commitments to excellence in the representation of their clients as well as fairness to all members of our firm has made them highly respected by all of our members.”
Mr. Young serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and was previously a co-leader of Hinshaw’s Commercial Transactions Practice Group. He also chairs Hinshaw’s GLBT Affinity Group. Mr. Young focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, securities law, loan and financing transactions, and contract negotiation. His financing work includes a particular focus on representing lenders in ESOP loan transactions. In those transactions he has represented lenders in both stand-alone and syndicated loan transactions with aggregate loan amounts ranging from $20 million to $150 million. Mr. Young earned his J.D. (1983) from the University of Chicago Law School and his A.B. (1980) from Dartmouth College, graduating cum laude.
Mr. Sullivan serves on the firm’s Executive Committee and previously served as the leader of Hinshaw’s Business Litigation Department. He handles complex professional liability and commercial litigation, including actions against accountants and attorneys, director and officer liability and coverage cases, consumer class action cases and breach of contract cases. He also focuses on lender liability suits, real estate litigation, UCC litigation, state and federal securities law claims, RICO claims, business tort litigation and common law fraud actions. Mr. Sullivan earned his J.D. (1983) from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where he graduated with honors, and his B.A. (1980) from the University of Notre Dame.
