The Daily Business Review (dbr) has named Neil S. Rollnick, a real estate partner in Hinshaw's Miami office, a finalist for the 2015 "Top Dealmakers of the Year" in the Real Estate - Multi Family Residential category. Mr. Rollnick is being recognized as the lead lawyer for the sellers on the largest pure multi-housing sale ever on South Beach. The $22.15 million selling price was for a portfolio of 113 housing units spanning eight properties and 69,583 feet. The deal was complicated by the sellers' request for an all-or-nothing sale.
Hailed as the "glue that held the deal together," Mr. Rollnick was actively involved in every aspect of the transaction. He represented entities Pepis Corp., Erogol Corp. and Nanshar Corp. in the sale of the properties to Boardwalk Properties FL, LLC.
Mr. Rollnick and other finalists were honored at a luncheon on May 8th in downtown Miami.
