Jessica A. Riley Elected to Board of Directors for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Jessica A. Riley has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers ("DAYL") for the 2024 term.
The DAYL is a bar organization in Dallas dedicated to the needs of young lawyers and the Dallas community as a whole. Supported by a diverse membership of approximately 3,000 lawyers, the DAYL strives to improve the quality of life for all young lawyers through various initiatives designed to educate, support, challenge, and entertain its members. Additionally, the DAYL serves the Dallas community through public service projects that young lawyers find meaningful.
Riley is a senior counsel at the firm's Dallas office. She provides her clients with compliance and regulatory guidance and represents them in state and federal litigation. Her experience is defending clients against claims related to ad valorem taxes, violations of state statutes, business disputes, consumer lending, servicing, and fraud claims.
Additionally, Riley was named the Event Chair for the 2024 DAYL Bolton Ball, a charity ball thrown each year to benefit the DAYL Foundation. The DAYL Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that funds law-related matters to local nonprofit organizations and scholarships for law students. It has provided over $450,000 in grants and scholarships to date. The Fellows program allows Dallas lawyers to support the DAYL Foundation financially. The 2024 Bolton Ball will be held next fall.
