Insurance Partners Jessica Forbes and Francesco Palanda Join Hinshaw in Miami

The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that insurance litigation attorneys Jessica Forbes and Francesco Palanda have joined the firm in Miami as partners in the Insurance Services Practice Group. Hinshaw's Miami office continues to grow through the recruitment of lateral partners such as Forbes and Palanda who have an existing client base and are attracted to the firm's full-service capabilities and national platform.
Jessica Forbes brings significant experience representing insurance companies in bad faith and insurance coverage claims. She has also served as coverage counsel in a number of construction defect claims, personal injury actions, and property damage claims. Throughout her career, Jessica has handled a wide range of litigation and coverage matters including carrier's defense obligations, indemnity risk exposure, additional insured-carrier disputes, inter-carrier disputes, and Directors & Officers (D&O) liability coverage. Jessica received her B.A. from Rutgers University and her J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.
Frank Palanda is an experienced trial attorney who counsels clients on commercial litigation, first and third party insurance coverage, and title insurance. He has worked with corporations from a variety of industries on cases involving breach of contract and business torts, including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, securities violations, civil conspiracy, and civil theft actions. Frank holds the designation of Certified Criminal Conflict Counsel from the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. He earned his B.S. at James Madison University and his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.
