Hinshaw's Ofonedu-Ime Goodwyn Named Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida

The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Ofonedu-Ime Goodwyn, an associate in the firm's Miami office, has been named Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Housing Services of South Florida (NHSSF).
"NHSSF is honored to have Ofonedu as its Vice Chair. His role on our Board comes at a critical time as NHSSF celebrates 40 years of working with South Floridian families to achieve affordable housing and revitalized neighborhoods," said Kimberly T. Henderson, NHSSF's President and CEO. "Ofonedu's stewardship will be instrumental as our staff and Board seek new and innovative solutions to the affordable housing crisis facing many residents in the region."
Goodwyn's practice focuses on corporate matters, secured lending transactions, and the acquisition, disposition, development, and leasing of real property. He regularly represents closely held companies, national and regional lenders, and a diverse range of borrowers and developers in a variety of commercial matters. Goodwyn earned a J.D. from Columbia University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
NHSSF is a Community Development Financial Institution, HUD-Approved Housing Counseling agency that provides a full spectrum of homeownership services in English and Spanish to stabilize communities and assist potential homebuyers in reaching their home ownership goals. Established in 1978, NHSSF is a 501(c)(3) chartered member of the NeighborWorks® network. As Vice Chair, Goodwyn will assist the organization with implementing its strategic vision and with legal matters.
