The U.S. law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Vincent Rizzo has been selected by Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer among their list of "40 Illinois Attorneys Under Forty to Watch – 2022."
In a Chicago Lawyer profile, clients and peers described Rizzo as a "true leader," and pointed to his "deep understanding of the law, […] successful results and ability to craft the most cost-effective solutions" for the firms he represents.
"Vincent is an accomplished and skilled litigator, who stands shoulders to shoulder with the very best of his peers," said Hinshaw Chairman Peter Sullivan. "He is also highly regarded throughout the legal industry and Chicago community for his tireless efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the profession and in our schools and businesses. It is gratifying to see that Chicago Daily Law Bulletin has recognized his dedication and commitment."

He also advises employees and employers on various aspects of the employment relationship, including employee misconduct, and other disciplinary matters. In addition to his active law practice, Rizzo is a dedicated champion and advocate for LGBTQ+ equality within the firm and in the community through various organizations. He is a member of the Hinshaw team responsible for obtaining 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index from the Human Rights Campaign. He also serves on the board of Hinshaw's LGBTQ+ Affinity Group and leads the firm's LGBTQ+ Corporate Equality and Harassment Prevention Training Program, providing training to both clients and the firm's new attorneys and staff.
He also holds various leadership roles in the legal community, including Secretary of LAGBAC, Chicago's LGBTQ+ bar association. In this role, Rizzo leads efforts to unite and strengthen the LGBTQ+ legal community through mentorship, networking, scholarships, and evaluation of candidates for judicial office. He is also an annual presenter at Lavender Law, the largest LGBTQ+ legal conference in the country. In addition, Rizzo is co-chair of the American Bar Association's Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Issues Network and the Cook County Bar Association's LGBTQ+ Section.
Rizzo was selected in 2021 as a “Notable LGBTQ Executive” by Crain’s Chicago Business, and selected by his peers for inclusion in “Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch” for Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment in 2022 and 2023.
