Hinshaw partner Andrew Gordon of the firm's Ft. Lauderdale office has been selected to receive a Daily Business Review 2018 Professional Excellence Award in the "On the Rise" category. Gordon was one of only 25 attorneys honored in the category. The award recognizes attorneys under 40 who "wield influence and show expertise" in their respective practice areas, while committing themselves to pro bono service, as well as charitable and professional volunteer work. All nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony in Miami, on May 30, 2018.
Gordon is a litigator and a member of Hinshaw's Labor & Employment practice group. He focuses his practice in the representation of management-side labor and employment matters such as defending employers against state and federal discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour, and retaliation claims, as well as FLSA collective actions, DOL compliance audits, whistleblower claims, and litigating non-compete/trade secret issues. He also has extensive business litigation experience, including contract disputes, business disputes, real estate litigation, banking litigation, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, and class action litigation.
