Prior to attending law school, White served for eight years with the U.S. Army and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Joint Endeavor.
At Hinshaw, White advises national financial services companies on compliance issues related to state and federal laws, including the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Military Lending Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Consumer Financial Protection Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). She also defends companies against regulatory investigations and litigation brought by governmental bodies.

Previously, White was an executive director and assistant general counsel at JPMorgan Chase and also served as Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Illinois Attorney General Consumer Fraud Bureau and the Assistant Bureau Chief for the Military & Veterans Rights Bureau.
In addition to her law practice, she actively supports Chicago-area veterans. As a member of Hinshaw’s Veterans Employee Resource Group, she facilitated the firm’s sponsorship of the USO Juneteenth 5K and served as a volunteer at the event. White also facilitated the firm’s sponsorship table for the USO Salute Gala for Veterans Day. Proceeds of both USO events support USO programs for servicemembers and their families.
White is a member of VFW Post 311 Benjamin O. Davis, where she has sponsored the Commander’s Ball & Scholarship Awards Dinner and volunteered for several Stand Downs for homeless veterans. These events provide support and resources for homeless veterans, including housing, food, clothing, health screenings, and haircuts.
White received her B.A. from Illinois State University and a J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
