A team of attorneys in the New York and London offices of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP has scored a major victory in an insurance arbitration.
The arbitration, which is governed by a robust confidentiality agreement, involved a specialized insurance policy issued by Hinshaw's client, a Lloyd's Syndicate. The policyholder submitted a claim to the Lloyd's Syndicate seeking a multi-million dollar recovery under the policy. After a full evidentiary hearing which lasted more than three weeks, Hinshaw achieved a resounding victory for its client.
The team of attorneys working on the arbitration was Kyle Medley, and Matt Ferlazzo.
