Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP Announces Expansion of Phoenix Office with the Addition of Gordon & Rees' Former Phoenix Office Co-Managing Partners

Phoenix, Arizona – The national law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP announced today that Stephen W. Tully has joined the firm as partner in the Commercial Litigation practice group, resident in the Firm's Phoenix, AZ office. Messrs. Tully will serve as Partners-In-Charge of the Phoenix office. He joins Hinshaw from Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP.
"Steve is an exceptional commercial litigator that further enhances the firm's ability to handle complex litigation in the Phoenix market," said Donald L. Mrozek, Hinshaw's Chairman. "His arrival follows on the heels of Randy Aoyama. This group brings both talent and experience to our Phoenix office. We look forward to their leadership as we continue to bolster our Phoenix presence."

Romero, Partner-In-Charge of Hinshaw's San Francisco office and member of Hinshaw's Management Committee, noted, "Phoenix remains a market that presents great opportunity to the Firm and the clients we serve in the area. Steve brings tremendous talent and deep roots in the Arizona community. He will further create and lead Hinshaw's Phoenix office with the other terrific lawyers and staff that make up our Southwest team."
Mr. Tully has been actively litigating cases for more than 22 years. He has in-depth experience in complex commercial litigation including contract disputes, professional liability claims, insurance litigation, governmental/municipal litigation and investigations, securities law, construction and employment litigation.
Mr. Tully served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2001 to 2007 and was Majority Leader of the Arizona House from 2005 to 2007. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Tully was Chairman of both the House Judiciary Committee and the House Ethics Committee. Mr. Tully currently serves as a Director of CopperPoint Mutual Insurance, Arizona's largest workers' compensation insurer, where he chairs the Board's Nominations and Governance Committee.

Mr. Tully earned his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Arizona College of Law.
