Francesco Palanda Achieves Status as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and Certified County Mediator

The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that partner Francesco Palanda has become both a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator and a Certified County Mediator. His certifications are valid for a two-year period, from April 2025 through April 2027, in all of the state's judicial circuits.
The Florida Supreme Court certifies mediators in several specialty areas. To obtain Florida Supreme Court mediator certification, applicants must meet educational requirements, complete a mediation certification course approved by the court in their specialty, observe and/or co-mediate a specified number of mediation cases in that field, and demonstrate good moral character. Palanda provides legal counsel in commercial litigation, as well as first and third-party insurance coverage and title insurance matters. He advises corporations across various industries on breach-of-contract cases and business torts, including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, securities violations, civil conspiracy, and civil theft actions.
As a seasoned trial lawyer, Palanda has been involved in litigation with some of the world's largest real estate developers. His experience includes litigating bad faith and coverage actions, along with extensive advising and representation of insurers in first-party and third-party coverage issues, particularly in general liability, automobile liability, and property insurance.
