Experienced Insurance Partner Stacy Goldscher Joins Hinshaw in California

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP today announced that Stacy Goldscher has joined the firm’s global insurance industry group as a partner in the Los Angeles office. Previously with Wood Smith Henning Berman, she brings 25 years of experience with insurance coverage matters and insurance litigation defense.

“Stacy is a gifted and creative litigator, and she has extensive knowledge in a wide array of insurance coverage matters,” said Spencer Kook, partner-in-charge of Hinshaw’s Los Angeles office. “She adds valuable depth to our existing bench at a time when our clients are facing growing legal risks and rapidly expanding insurance coverage issues.”

Stacy provides clients with strategic counseling, insurance coverage analysis, and defends companies against first-party and third-party insurance coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and litigation related to wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and mass tort. A strategic negotiator, she works with insurance carrier representatives to obtain favorable resolutions for her clients, and she has a successful courtroom track record.

She decided to join Hinshaw because of the firm’s nationwide platform, its nationally recognized insurance practice, and the greater opportunities to expand her practice.

Prior to Wood Smith Henning Berman, Stacy practiced at various firms in the Los Angeles area. She received a B.A. from California State University and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
