The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is delighted to announce that partner Dan Boho has been named a 2023 John Paul Stevens Award Recipient by the Chicago Bar Association (CBA). The award is the highest honor bestowed by the CBA. Boho and five other recipients were officially recognized at a luncheon held at the Union League Club Chicago, on Monday, October 2, 2023.
The award is named for Chicago-native Justice John Paul Stevens, who retired from the United States Supreme Court in 2010. The Stevens Award recognizes lawyers and judges who have demonstrated "extraordinary integrity and service to the community" throughout their careers.
"This is exceptional recognition for one of the best trial lawyers this firm has produced," said Hinshaw Chairman Peter Sullivan. "We're very proud of all Dan has accomplished. On behalf of his clients, our profession, and our firm, we warmly congratulate him."
"I'm humbled to receive this award and to be included among such a distinguished group of honorees," said Boho. "It's been an honor to be a part of the great community of lawyers at the Chicago Bar Association. I look forward to many more years of collaborating with them."
Boho has been a member of Hinshaw's Executive Committee for more than 30 years and is the co-leader of the firm's national Personal Injury and Property Damage Practice Group. He is the former State Chair of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He has also served as General Counsel to the CBA.
