The U.S. law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that attorney Dominique Price has been selected as a 2023 Fellow in the Chicago Urban League’s IMPACT Leadership Development Program. The IMPACT program is in partnership with The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and aims to "move the needle toward racial parity in leadership positions by developing and supporting emerging Black leaders."
The IMPACT Leadership Development Program—first established in 2014—annually assembles a group of approximately forty Chicago-based Black professionals from a wide range of industry sectors and with diverse personal backgrounds. Fellows are chosen based on their personal and professional accomplishments, leadership potential, and commitment to civic engagement.
Throughout the nine-month program, Fellows will be paired with personal mentors, participate in monthly seminars, and attend lectures from senior leaders in the Chicago area. These program elements are designed to "provide a robust platform for inter-generational exchange and professional networking." By the end of the program, Fellows develop a "leadership action plan" geared toward guiding them through the next steps of their professional advancement and helping them map out strategies for effective community engagement.
Price is the second Hinshaw attorney to be selected for the prestigious leadership program.
Price is a product liability and commercial litigation attorney with experience in a wide variety of consumer and industrial products and sectors. Prior to joining Hinshaw, Price practiced in entertainment and sports law representing professional athletes—leveraging his own experience as a former NFL player. Outside of his legal practice, he is also a Tutoring Chicago Neighborhood Ambassador for Hyde Park.
