Lauren Campisi Elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers

The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that Lauren Campisi, Partner-in-Charge of the firm's New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Houston offices, was elected to the Board of Regents of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers (ACCFSL). She is currently a Fellow of ACCFSL and has served as a member of the organization’s Nominations Committee for several years. Lauren will serve a four-year term on the Board of Regents, effective 2025 – 2029.
Founded in 1996, the ACCFSL is a professional association of lawyers who are particularly skilled and experienced in handling consumer financial services matters and are dedicated to the improvement and enhancement of the skill and practice of consumer financial services law and the ethics of the profession. Membership is by invitation only and limited to those who have achieved preeminence in the field of U.S. consumer financial services law as demonstrated through repeated and substantial contributions to the field of consumer financial services law, including by teaching, lecturing, or publishing within the field. Fellows include academics, regulatory officials, authors, private practitioners, and representatives from consumer protection organizations.
The Board of Regents controls and manages the College's affairs, including implementing rules for the election of Fellows, establishing committees, and transacting all other business for and on behalf of the College not otherwise provided for in the College bylaws.
Lauren is a recognized national leader in consumer financial services. She provides strategic advice on federal and state compliance matters, licensing, supervisory examinations, enforcement actions, and single-party and class action litigation. Her extensive client base includes national and state-chartered banks, national mortgage lenders and servicers, automotive and personal property finance companies, installment lenders, and online lenders, among others.
Lauren has been recognized in numerous editions of The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA, Thomson Reuters Stand-Out Lawyers, and Louisiana Super Lawyers. She is actively involved in various professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, Conference on Consumer Finance Law, Mortgage Bankers Association, American Financial Services Association, and Louisiana Bankers Association.
