The law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is pleased to announce that April Toy has been elected National Secretary of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) for the 2023-2024 term. Toy was inducted – along with other officers – at the recently concluded Annual HNBA Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Established in 1972, the HNBA is an incorporated, not-for-profit, national membership association that represents the interests of over 65,000 Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, law students, and legal professionals in the United States and its territories.
Toy serves as the Vice-Chair of the HACE’s National Leadership Council. Toy is also a 2023 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). She represents businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in a wide range of civil litigation matters. Her primary practice areas include commercial litigation, legal malpractice defense, and defending insurers in first-party and third-party insurance coverage disputes.
