The U.S. law firm Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP today announced that Anju Suresh—an associate in the Minneapolis office—has been selected among the Twin Cities Business 2022 Notable Emerging Stars in Law. Each year, Twin Cities Business Magazine recognizes a select group of young legal professionals who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments, leadership within their firms or organizations, and advocacy and involvement in community or nonprofit groups.

A member of Hinshaw's commercial litigation practice group, Suresh represents clients ranging from individuals to large corporations in a wide variety of areas ranging from business and employment disputes to insurance and product liability matters.
In addition to her active litigation practice, Suresh is co-leader of Hinshaw's Asian Pacific American Affinity Network (APAAN). The group's efforts to raise awareness and educate others in the firm about Asian Pacific culture and heritage have become increasingly important with the recent increase in discrimination and hate crimes against Asian Americans. She has been a driving force in developing programs that promote business development and advancement opportunities, as well as a quarterly social event that promotes connections between the firm's associates and partners.
She also serves as a mentor to junior associates, offering guidance on all aspects of their practices and career development.
"We're delighted that Anju has been recognized by Twin Cities Business," said Kevin Coan, partner-in-charge of Hinshaw's Minneapolis office. "Through her leadership and commitment, she has helped raise awareness within the firm about issues important to the Asian American community. She has also been a great mentor to our junior associates."
Suresh is an active member of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and she works to offer opportunities for her Hinshaw colleagues to attend the annual National Asian Pacific American Bar convention.
