Russell A. Klingaman, a Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP partner in the firm's Milwaukee office, was quoted multiple times in the article "Drones Could Be the Next Disruptive Technology," published by BizTimes Milwaukee magazine on April 4, 2016.
The article discusses the potential disruptions that drones may bring as businesses introduce them for commercial use. Mr. Klingaman addresses Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) restrictions on commercial use of drones. Mr. Klingaman says, "Right now, the restriction that’s keeping most of the business uses under wraps is line of sight," Mr. Klingaman also mentions that he worries about safety in the skies, given that some people are operating drones without the knowledge of the FAA regulations, and/or without FAA authorization.
