On the Greg and Dan Show: Ambrose McCall Discusses Social Media, Threats of Violence, and Parler

Hinshaw's Ambrose McCall joined the Greg and Dan show to talk social media, including the latest social media bubble entrant, Parler. This new platform represents itself as a content moderation-free zone; and this can create an environment in which users feel free to make threats of violence and may open themselves to liability. McCall notes that Parler can still give users the boot for spamming on the platform. In closing out the show, McCall explains that even though technology continues to evolve and outpace the public's capacity to interact in a positive and socially-beneficial manner, he still has faith in the protections the law provides.
This episode of the Greg & Dan Show on 1470 WMBD was originally recorded on November 19, 2020.
