On the Greg & Dan Show: Ambrose McCall Details Upcoming U.S. Supreme Court Hearings Over COVID Mandates

Hinshaw's Ambrose McCall joined the Greg and Dan Show and previewed oral argument scheduled today before the U.S. Supreme Court over legal challenges to two Biden Administration COVID-19 vaccination policies. The policies at stake: a vaccine-or-test requirement for workers at large employers, and a vaccine mandate for workers at health care centers.
McCall said the "major question doctrine" – under which courts scrutinize whether specific agency action was in fact authorized by Congress in its enabling statute – would be central to the arguments. He also stated the cases were a "big, big shoe that nobody knows how it's going to fit, or be put back in the box and be returned."
This episode of the Greg & Dan Show on 1470 WMBD was originally recorded on January 7, 2022.
