Liz Baker, of counsel in Hinshaw's Miami office, published an article in Daily Business Review titled "How Can We Help Women Lawyers Achieve Long-Term Careers?" In the article, Baker reviews her own family history of lawyering—her mother joined the Massachusetts bar in 1934—and then considers what can be done to encourage women today to enter the profession. Included in her discussion is a review of an initiative spearheaded by ABA President Hilarie Bass titled "Achieving Long-Term Careers for Women in Law."
