Legal publisher Law360 published an article titled "The 5 Biggest Insurance Decisions of 2017." The list includes the decision Travelers v. Actavis, in which a California appellate court determined that an insurance carrier did not have to defend a pharmaceutical company accused of deceptive marketing of its opioid painkillers, because "claims involving allegations of intentional or negligent misrepresentations do not constitute an accident under a liability policy."
Analysis of the Actavis decision by Hinshaw partners Larry Golub and Scott Seaman is referenced in the story.
