Hinshaw attorneys Aimee Delaney and Nick Corsano presented "Best Practices for Building an LGBT Inclusive Workplace and Preventing Claims" at the Connecticut Valley Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. Annual Meeting on June 7, 2017. The presentation discussed; federal, state, and local LGBTQ workplace legal protections; definitions of LGBTQ terminology; employment scenarios that could lead to claims in the workplace; and best practices for promoting an LGBTQ inclusive work environment.
