The Daily Business Review spoke with Fort Lauderdale Partner-in-Charge Andrew Gordon for its story on the changing landscape of Florida office space.
Gordon shared the firm’s vision for adding amenities in the upscaled office space with “less square footage, but our common areas, conference rooms, café, breakout rooms, and gathering areas are all bigger, welcoming, and intentional in their design.”
He shared how reducing the Florida office sizes will also align with the firm’s mission of going paperless by decreasing the need for extra space for filing cabinets and libraries. The new Florida offices will further help accommodate clients and colleagues who travel across the country as well:
“Office space is still important to clients at all of our locations. It’s an office for clients to do presentations, clients can hold meetings at any time, and we encourage them to use it, especially our out-of-country clients.”
Through this office shift, the Daily Business Review says Hinshaw is one of the firms “leading the way toward a smaller hybrid-friendly workplace.”
“2023 Saw Several Firms Shrink Fla. Office Spaces in Exchange for More Amenities” was published by the Daily Business Review on December 26, 2023.
