Hinshaw attorney Diane Webster participated in a virtual panel discussion on February 9, 2022, co-hosted by the Justinian Society of Lawyers and The Diversity Scholarship Foundation. The panel was titled "Action-Based Opportunities for Intentional Inclusion in the Legal Profession" and was moderated by the Honorable Barbara Flores and also included Bhavani Raveendran (Partner, Romanucci & Blandin) and Kenya Jenkins-Wright (General Counsel, Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Committee).
The panel addressed the following topics:
- Impediments to the advancement of diverse attorneys in the legal profession
- Advancement resources and opportunities to overcome the lack of diversity and inclusion at various levels
- Successful methodologies and resources to help advance diverse attorneys in both the public and private sectors
