Craig Liljestrand's CDLB Column: Illinois Appellate Court Affirms Cook County Circuit Court Judgment in Wrongful-Death Suit by Locomotive Engineer

The First District Appellate Court's affirmation of a Cook County Circuit Court judgment in a wrongful-death suit involved a brakeman and locomotive engineer who worked for BNSF for over 40 years and died of lung cancer. Liljestrand explains how the First District determined that the trial court had not abused its discretion in denying an intrastate forum non conveniens motion.
